We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our growing logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping stations.
- Stage orders for efficient loading and transportation.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and shipping targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- A commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
