We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate at our state-of-the-art facility in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key duties include picking items, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. You will work in a dynamic environment where Safety is a top priority. We seek motivated individuals who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals within our logistics network. Proper PPE will be provided and its use mandated.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Stage orders for outbound shipment.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Support the overall logistics workflow through diligent task completion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and use of PPE.
