We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our distribution process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology to track inventory and verify order accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles.
