This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment with speed and precision. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from various warehouse locations, ensuring product integrity, and packaging items safely and efficiently for transit. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at a brisk pace, and a strong commitment to quality. Collaboration with the logistics and shipping departments is key to our success. We provide comprehensive training, including safety procedures and the proper use of PPE. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a stable role in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products based on customer orders.
- Inspect goods for quality and report any damages.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages correctly for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to optimize efficiency.
- Support inventory control through accurate picking and reporting.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed, contributing to overall logistics flow.
- Meet individual and team performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and perform regular lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory tasks.
- Adherence to safety protocols and use of provided PPE.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
