We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our growing logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying inventory against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a high standard of operational Safety. This role is vital to our supply chain, ensuring that we have accurate inventory levels to meet customer demands. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Tag and log all received inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and protocols for the receiving area.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a related warehouse role is preferred. Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including Lifting items up to 30 pounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Must have basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is required. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is a plus. Willingness to wear provided PPE.
