We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in San Jose, California. This critical role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, stock and retrieve inventory, and transport materials to designated areas. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures is essential. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position involves significant use of forklifts and may require occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate will be highly reliable, possess excellent attention to detail, and have a proven track record of safe operation. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure placement of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support logistics team in daily warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Experience with various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
