Our Detroit, Michigan facility is seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our team. The Order Picker plays a critical role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order tickets.
- Pack and prepare picked items for shipment, ensuring they are secure and correctly labeled.
- Use RF scanners or other devices to track inventory and order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed, with proper training.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking shelves.
- Perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting of products from various heights.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking quotas and deadlines.
- Ensure the accuracy of all orders processed to support our logistics chain.
Qualifications:
Experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Must have good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. A strong emphasis on Safety and the proper wearing of PPE is required. Join us to advance your career in logistics.
