As a Distribution Center Associate, you will contribute directly to our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high levels of accuracy and speed in our logistics operations. You will be expected to operate warehouse equipment safely, follow instructions carefully, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and adherence to all lifting guidelines is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment within the logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
