This role is central to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. You'll be navigating our warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items, preparing them for the next steps in our logistics chain. The ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting is crucial for this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked orders to designated staging or packing areas.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse and logistics operations.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Perform tasks that require moderate Lifting of products up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for regular Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with general logistics workflows.
