This role is fundamental to our operations, involving the handling of goods throughout the warehouse lifecycle. Key responsibilities include receiving inventory, organizing stock, fulfilling orders by picking and packing items, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will play a vital part in our logistics process, ensuring smooth and accurate operations from start to finish. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy.
- Store merchandise in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space.
- Select items accurately for customer orders based on pick lists.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label shipments and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records and participate in counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as trained.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Undertake additional tasks as needed to support the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
- Physical capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
