Your role will involve a variety of essential tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. You will be a critical component of our supply chain, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all inventory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items based on order sheets or system data.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, as trained.
- Uphold all safety standards, including the use of designated PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, consistently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
