Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse equipment.
  • Conduct minor repairs and coordinate with external service providers for major repairs.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and repair logs.
  • Assist in the implementation of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics .
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety guidelines.
