We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Seattle, Washington. In this vital role, you will operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, and assisting with inventory management. This position is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all operators must demonstrate proficiency in safe forklift operation, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to all safety regulations. This role requires the ability to handle moderate lifting in addition to operating the forklift.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and warehousing operations.
