We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in New York City, New York. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will help optimize stock levels, minimize losses, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. - Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes.
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Participate in inventory audits.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Must be comfortable with moderate lifting up to 25 lbs.
