We are seeking a skilled professional to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. This role is vital for managing the flow of goods within our warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and supporting order fulfillment. - Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from designated locations.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE at all times.
- Support the logistics team with various tasks as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices for forklift operation.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE and following all Safety procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
