We are hiring motivated Warehouse Associates for our Richmond, Virginia location! This role is fundamental to our daily warehouse operations, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, following safe Lifting techniques.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations through diligent task completion.
- Work collaboratively with fellow associates and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards, operational issues, or damaged goods to management.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
