We are actively recruiting dependable Warehouse Workers for our facility in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will contribute to the core operations of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and preparing goods for shipment. This is a hands-on position requiring energy, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. As a Warehouse Worker, you are integral to our logistics network, ensuring that products move smoothly and accurately through our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against manifests.
- Sort, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management tasks.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of products, adhering to safe Lifting practices.
- Support the overall logistics process by completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
