We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and on time. This role is essential for our overall logistics and supply chain success. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with inventory control processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
