We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in both diesel engine repair and automotive electrical systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
* Utilize schematics to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
* Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and costs involved.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
*Skills*
* Proficient in diesel engine repair and general mechanic duties.
* Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
* Experience in vehicle maintenance and auto estimating is preferred.
* Ability to weld as needed for repairs or modifications.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing issues.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
