The Boeing Company is looking for Level Wire Design Engineers (Associate and Experienced) to join the Boeing Defense Space & Security USAF E7 team in Tukwila, WA. This role is responsible for designing wire harnesses and integrating their design with multiple other teams. Position Responsibilities: Supports analysis and design reviews. Analyzes results and supports design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Supports the development of statements of work. Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 1+ years of wire design experience 2+ years of experience on aerospace programs Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Experience designing or supporting electrical wire harness installations Understanding of wire separation requirements and other EME considerations Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
