The New Interdisciplinary School (NIS), a nonprofit early childhood center in Yaphank, NY, is looking for an *energetic and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist* to join our collaborative and joyful community!
At NIS, we support children from *birth to five years old*, including those with and without special needs. Our mission is simple but powerful: to create an *inclusive, supportive, and developmentally rich environment* where every child can grow, communicate, and thrive.
What You’ll Do
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you’ll make a meaningful impact every day by:
* Providing *speech-language therapy* aligned with each child’s IEP
* Conducting *speech and language evaluations* as needed
* Maintaining therapy logs, documentation, and reports
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to support each child’s success
* Participating in *team meetings, trainings, and professional development*
* Offering in-service trainings and consultation to staff and outside agencies
* Supporting students completing clinical observations or internships
* Assisting with special projects and program initiatives
* Lifting and assisting children (up to 45 lbs) as part of daily activities

What We’re Looking For
* *NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology or TSSLD certification* (required)
* Early childhood experience preferred
* A positive, team-oriented mindset
* Passion for working with young children and families
* *Strong Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply!*

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
