We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse facility in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our Logistics network. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Key duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. You will be tasked with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring that all shipments are handled with care and accuracy. Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper storage techniques is a critical aspect of this position. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is paramount, including the diligent use of all required PPE . This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, which includes frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow and meet operational deadlines.
