Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and assist in reordering processes.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, especially when working with materials that require specific handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
