We are looking for a hardworking Material Handler to join our operations in Richmond, Virginia. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in the movement and organization of materials within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving and unloading incoming shipments, transporting materials to designated storage areas, and preparing materials for shipment or further processing. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified). A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management is beneficial. We are committed to a safe work environment, and all employees must adhere to strict safety guidelines and consistently wear the appropriate PPE . This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics chain. You will be required to perform tasks that involve frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds and continuous physical activity. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are crucial. You will work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and potentially truck drivers. Training on specific equipment and procedures will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials.
