Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Verify contents of outgoing shipments against orders for accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups for outgoing freight.
- Properly package and label shipments to prevent damage and ensure efficient Logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including some Lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and order management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
