Seeking a motivated Order Picker for our distribution center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and staging items for shipment, playing a critical part in our supply chain. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work quickly, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Use voice-picking technology or pick lists to gather items for orders.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect products for any damage before they are staged for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet performance metrics.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Must be reliable and possess excellent teamwork skills.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
