We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing stock levels, and utilizing inventory management systems. The Inventory Clerk plays a key role in optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring that we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time. A strong understanding of inventory control procedures and a commitment to accuracy are essential. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of our logistics team. We emphasize a safe work environment, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for efficient access.
- Ensure all inventory is properly labeled and stored.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
