You will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move pallets of goods to and from racking systems.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Accurately pick and put away inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear aisles and safe access.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck, with valid certification preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
