You'll be the first point of contact for incoming shipments and the last to ensure outgoing orders are perfectly prepared. Responsibilities:
- Manage the inbound and outbound movement of products and materials.
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately record received and shipped items in our inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and correctly labeled.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring secure and efficient placement.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 pounds consistently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to safety, including understanding and implementing proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
