In this role, you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining an organized work environment. Your contributions are vital to the smooth functioning of our logistics network. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and manual handling of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming materials.
- Move materials to and from designated areas using hand trucks, dollies, or forklifts (if certified).
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Understanding of safe material handling techniques and PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
