Our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas is looking for dedicated Associates to join our team. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment. This role is crucial for maintaining our logistics network and meeting customer demands. We are committed to providing a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any operational issues or safety hazards.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as directed by management.
- Support overall logistics efficiency and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Understanding of inventory control and logistics processes.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE is mandatory.
