We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and carefully packaging them for shipment. Your precision and efficiency are key to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities include using scanning devices to track inventory, ensuring correct item counts, and preparing packages for transit. You will work within a team to meet daily order fulfillment goals and uphold our high standards. Adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of appropriate PPE are mandatory. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong organizational skills, and is eager to contribute to our logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carriers.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through scanning technology.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
