Exciting opportunity for a diligent Picker/Packer in our Cincinnati, Ohio facility! As a Picker/Packer, you are at the heart of our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with accuracy and speed. Your daily tasks will involve navigating the warehouse to retrieve specific items from inventory, meticulously packing them for safe transit, and preparing them for shipment. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality standards. You will work closely with our logistics team to maintain smooth operations and contribute to exceptional customer experiences. Experience with RF scanners is beneficial, and we provide comprehensive training on all procedures, including safety protocols and the use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify product information and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and appropriately to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support inventory management and cycle count activities.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists and product information.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity for physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to safety best practices and use of PPE.
