Join our vibrant team as a Receiving Clerk in sunny Tampa, Florida! We're seeking an organized and diligent individual to manage the flow of incoming goods into our distribution center. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of our Logistics network. Key responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, meticulously checking received items against purchase orders, identifying and reporting any damaged or incorrect goods, and accurately updating our inventory system. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Safety is our top priority, so adherence to all Safety guidelines and the consistent use of provided PPE are non-negotiable. This position requires the ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting and operate basic warehouse equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all inbound freight from carriers.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Match received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system.
- Organize and stage incoming inventory for put-away.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding receiving discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
- Strictly follow all Safety protocols and wear all mandated PPE .
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counting and stock checks, which may involve significant Lifting .
