We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our San Diego, California facility. This is a hands-on role crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and preparing shipments. If you are a team player with a strong commitment to Safety and a willingness to learn, this role offers a great opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company standards.
- Strictly follow all Safety procedures and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Understand and comply with all Lifting requirements and best practices to ensure worker Safety.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals and contribute to overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail are highly valued. Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Safety protocols. A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork is encouraged. Training on specific equipment and Safety procedures will be provided. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits.
