Job Summary:
Our fast-paced San Jose, California facility is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting our logistics operations and financial reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular audits, and implementing strategies to minimize discrepancies and losses. If you have a sharp analytical mind and a dedication to meticulous record-keeping, this position is for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstocking.
  • Work closely with the logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accuracy from the start.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Experience with Lilling and stock rotation practices. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to Safety and maintaining accurate records is paramount.
