We are seeking a diligent Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, contributing directly to our company's logistics success. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of warehouse activities, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are deeply committed to workplace safety, and all associates are required to follow strict safety protocols and utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and are comfortable with the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including regular lifting. Previous experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse setting is highly advantageous. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment. The ability to work quickly and precisely is essential. We foster a collaborative environment where teamwork is encouraged. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking products based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Carefully packing items to ensure they are secure and protected for transit.
- Verifying order details for accuracy before shipment.
- Assembling orders efficiently to meet productivity targets.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace within the fulfillment center.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assisting with receiving and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Participating in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily goals in our logistics operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Capability for regular lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE.
