Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and safety.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any maintenance issues and report them immediately.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and utilize necessary PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around loading docks and storage zones.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, including some lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and material handling.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
