We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators for our expanding facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this crucial role, you will manage the movement of goods, ensuring efficiency and safety throughout our warehouse. Responsibilities include loading and unloading delivery trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage locations, and organizing warehouse space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong safety record, excellent operational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a productive work environment. Your expertise is vital to our Logistics operations, and we prioritize a culture of safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts of various types to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload products from trucks and into storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts, reporting any issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Wear and utilize designated PPE at all times when operating equipment or in designated zones.
- Stage products for outgoing shipments and ensure correct placement.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized storage.
- Keep work areas clean and free of obstructions.
- This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform significant Lifting .
- Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
- Identify and report any safety hazards promptly.
- Follow instructions for efficient workflow within the Logistics framework.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience. Valid forklift certification required. Proven ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Experience with different types of forklifts is advantageous. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions. Must be available to work assigned shifts, including potential overtime.
