Become an integral part of our **logistics** operations as an Order Picker in Baltimore, Maryland. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role demands precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that the right products are picked for shipment. Our Order Pickers are the backbone of our fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict **safety** standards and utilize provided **PPE**. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in their work. The ability to handle **lifting** requirements and work efficiently is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Safely transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain order accuracy and minimize picking errors.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance metrics.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including **lifting** and moving products up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to **lift** and maneuver products weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to **safety** and adherence to guidelines.
- Must wear required **PPE** at all times.
- Understanding of **logistics** flow is a plus.
