You will be responsible for meticulously unloading trucks, verifying quantities and product details against purchase orders, inspecting for any damage, and documenting all received goods in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your attention to detail and commitment to **safety** are paramount. The role requires you to operate material handling equipment and consistently wear appropriate **PPE**. This position involves regular **lifting** and requires you to be agile and efficient. We are looking for a dependable and organized individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Your accurate receiving processes are the foundation of our inventory management and overall supply chain success. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from delivery vehicles.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Verify received items against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the WMS.
- Stage received products for put-away or further processing.
- Operate pallet jacks and other receiving equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe receiving area.
- Ensure strict adherence to all **PPE** requirements and company **safety** policies.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving items as needed, up to 50 lbs.
- Support overall **logistics** operations through accurate and timely receiving.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using a pallet jack and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform manual tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and **PPE** compliance.
- Familiarity with **logistics** and inventory management concepts is a plus.
