We are actively recruiting for a Shipping Clerk position in our San Francisco, California location. This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. As a Shipping Clerk, you will manage shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and prepare orders for dispatch. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to Safety will be key to success. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to be part of a growing logistics company.Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and bills of lading.
- Verify shipment contents against order documentation.
- Schedule pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate shipping records.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and carrier requirements.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Adhere to all required PPE protocols.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Understanding of shipping carrier procedures and logistics best practices.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all Safety guidelines and wearing mandated PPE.
