The Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Material Coordinator with installation knowledge to join our team. This unique hybrid role involves managing the shipping and receiving of electrical materials and equipment, while also assisting with job site preparation, pre-assembly, and installation support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming electrical materials and tools
• Prepare outgoing shipments with accurate documentation
• Maintain inventory records and organize warehouse/storage areas
• Assist in assembling and pre-wiring electrical components for job sites
• Coordinate with project managers and electricians to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Handle, store, and transport sensitive or high-value electrical equipment properly
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Support safety and cleanliness protocols in the warehouse and on job sites
• Perform light electrical duties as needed (e.g., pulling wire, labeling panels, mounting boxes)
• Price work order material for accounting

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Shipper Receiver in a construction or electrical setting
• Knowledge of electrical components and installation practices (e.g., conduit, wire, panels, breakers) is Mandatory
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and basic electrical drawings
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks
• Valid driver's license (required); forklift certification an asset
• Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection) are a plus
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
