Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner signals.
- Verify product information, quantities, and expiration dates to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment as needed.
- Follow precise picking instructions to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in regular inventory counts as required.
- Understand and apply safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and speed of the logistics process.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- Uphold a commitment to operational excellence and a positive team spirit.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order picking lists accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
