We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our Sacramento, California team. In this key position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of our inventory management system. Your responsibilities will include performing cycle counts, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and assisting in the development and implementation of inventory control strategies. This role is vital to supporting our overall logistics operations and maintaining optimal stock levels. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless inventory flow. A strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory audits, including cycle counting and physical inventories.
- Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure adequate stock.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Track and report on key inventory metrics such as accuracy, turns, and shrinkage.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and storage conditions are maintained.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field is required. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software. Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting. Thorough understanding of logistics principles and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all guidelines. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must comply with all PPE requirements.
