Join our thriving logistics team as an Order Picker in the heart of New York City, New York! This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. We are seeking diligent and efficient individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our warehouse operations. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and have a sharp eye for detail, this position offers a great opportunity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting order tickets and locating specific items within the warehouse.
- Using electronic scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory.
- Gathering items accurately and preparing them for the packing station.
- Ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected for each order.
- Maintaining an organized and tidy picking area.
- Strictly adhering to all warehouse safety rules and the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with other logistics tasks as directed.
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency is critical. Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar logistics role is highly desirable.
