We are hiring motivated Order Pickers to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, requiring speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will utilize scanning equipment and work closely with our warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure efficiency and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving products, and is committed to upholding our high standards of safety. All employees are required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Scan items to record movement and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to team goals and the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists or use handheld scanners.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial.
