Join our growing logistics team as a Warehouse Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri. This pivotal role oversees the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and supervising a team of warehouse associates. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety best practices.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth product flow and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage shipping schedules and carrier relationships.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and inventory control techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment and ensuring proper PPE usage.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
