This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to ensure precise inventory levels. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure product quality.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Track the movement of goods and ensure proper storage locations are maintained.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff to optimize inventory flow and reduce stockouts.
- Identify and report on slow-moving or excess inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in developing and refining inventory management strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics is essential.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
