Your tasks will include receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. You will also operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, to facilitate these processes. Ensuring a safe and organized work environment is paramount, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is required. This role involves regular physical activity and significant lifting. The ideal candidate is a team player, possesses excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Perform quality checks on materials before shipment.
- Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as needed for effective logistics management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
